Messages & analytics
Every message around a giveaway, its placeholders, and what the numbers tell you afterwards.
Messages
Every message Rimpllee sends around a giveaway is editable: the card, the winners announcement, the reroll, the cancellation, the winner DM and the ephemeral replies members get when they enter or are turned away.
- Set them under Giveaways → Settings. They apply to every giveaway in the server, so the bot speaks with one voice and there is a single place to change the wording.
Placeholders
- {giveaway_name}
- The giveaway's name.
- {prize} / {prizes}
- The first prize, or every tier on one line.
- {prize_line}
- The prize summary with a bold Prize: / Prizes: label, as the card uses it.
- {winner_mentions}
- The winners, as mentions.
- {entries} / {unique_entries}
- How many entries there are.
- {end_condition}
- How it ends: a live countdown, an entry target, a member target, or all of them.
- {requirements}
- The requirement list, ticked per rule for the member reading it. The giveaway card already shows the rules in its own Requirements field, so you only need this in a template of your own.
- {host} / {server} / {member_count}
- Who is hosting, and which server it runs in.
- {jump_url}
- A link back to the giveaway message.
Analytics
Giveaways → Analytics shows entries over time, unique participants, winners drawn and a leaderboard of your most active members. It also breaks down what blocks entries: how often each requirement turned someone away. If one rule accounts for most of your refusals, it is probably too tight.
