Snippets
Save canned replies your staff can drop into a ticket in two clicks — with placeholders for the opener and the staff member.
Snippets are saved replies (canned responses) for a panel. When a panel has snippets, a Snippets button appears under every ticket's opening message — staff click it, pick a reply, and Rimpllee posts it in the ticket. No slash command, no copy-pasting.
Free servers can save 2 snippets per panel; Premium and Rimpllee Custom raise this to 10. See Plans.
Creating snippets
- 1
Open the panel
Edit a panel and scroll to the Snippets section.
- 2
Add a snippet
Click Add snippet, give it a short name (that's what staff pick from the list) and write the reply.
- 3
Use placeholders
The reply supports placeholders for the opener and the sender — see below.
Using a snippet in a ticket
- 1
Click Snippets
Staff press the Snippets button under the ticket's opening message.
- 2
Pick a reply
A private dropdown lists the panel's snippets. Choose one.
- 3
It's posted
Rimpllee fills in the placeholders and posts the reply in the ticket.
Only staff can use snippets — a server admin, anyone with Manage Messages, or anyone holding one of the category's support roles. The member who opened the ticket can't, unless they're staff.
Placeholders
Snippet content supports these tokens, filled in when the snippet is sent:
- {user_name} · {user_tag} · {user_id}
- The ticket opener's username, a mention that pings them, and their ID.
- {staff_name} · {staff_tag} · {staff_id}
- You — the staff member sending the snippet: username, a mention that pings, and ID.
- {guild_name}
- Your server's name.
- {category}
- The ticket's category.
Snippets are set per panel, not per category — every category on the panel shares the same set.
