Intake questions
Ask members a few questions in a popup the moment they open a ticket, so staff get context straight away.
Intake questions are optional questions shown in a popup (a modal) the instant a member opens a ticket. Their answers are posted into the new ticket channel, so your staff start with context instead of asking “how can I help?”.
How many you can add
Questions are set per button. You can add up to 2 questions on Free and up to 5 on Premium.
Each question has
- Label
- The question text the member sees.
- Type
- Short answer or Paragraph. Advanced types like dropdowns and checkboxes are Premium.
- Required
- Whether the member must answer before the ticket opens.
Advanced question types — dropdown and checkboxes — are available on Premium.
Where the answers go
When the member submits the popup, Rimpllee creates the ticket and posts their answers at the top of the new channel for staff to read.
Keep questions short. The longer the form, the fewer people finish it — so ask only what staff really need. Configure them back on the button.
Pick a channel, member or role
Three question types don't ask the member to type anything. They open Discord's own picker instead, so the answer is always a real channel, member or role in your server and never a name somebody guessed at.
- Pick a member
- The member picks someone from the server. Made for Who are you reporting?
- Pick a channel
- The member picks a channel. Made for Where did this happen?
- Pick a role
- The member picks a role, for questions like Which team should look at this?
On a channel question you tick which channel types are selectable: text, voice, announcement, forum, stage and category. Tick nothing and every channel type is offered.
The answer is posted in the ticket as a real mention, so staff click straight through to the channel or the member. A member answer keeps the raw ID next to it, so it stays usable if that person leaves before anyone reads the ticket.
All three are free on every plan. There are no options to write: Discord supplies the list from your own server.
