Rimpllee Custom
Run every Rimpllee feature on your own white-label Discord bot — your name, avatar and activity, with no Rimpllee branding.
Rimpllee Custom lets you run everything on your own Discord bot. Members see your bot's name, avatar and activity instead of Rimpllee's — it's fully white-label, with no Rimpllee branding anywhere. This is available on the Custom plan.

Set up your custom bot
- 1
Create a Discord application
Go to the Discord Developer Portal, click New Application and give it a name.
- 2
Add a bot
Open the Bot tab, add a bot, and set its avatar and username if you like — this is what members will see.
- 3
Enable intents
Under the bot settings, enable the Server Members Intent and Message Content Intent, and keep the default Guilds intent on.
- 4
Copy the bot token
Still in the Bot tab, use Reset Token / Copy Token and keep it somewhere safe — you'll paste it into Rimpllee in a moment.
- 5
Invite your bot
Invite your own bot to your server with the bot and applications.commands scopes and the permissions Rimpllee needs. See Invite Rimpllee for the permission list.
- 6
Connect it in Rimpllee
In the dashboard open Premium → Custom bot, fill in the fields below, paste your bot token, and press Save.
Treat the token like a password
Your bot token grants full control of the bot — never share it or paste it anywhere public. If it ever leaks, reset it in the Developer Portal and connect the new token.
Fields you fill in
- Bot name
- The display name shown for your bot.
- Status text
- The activity text shown under the bot, e.g. “Helping members”.
- Activity mode
- One of Playing, Watching, Listening, Competing or Streaming.
- Status mode
- Online, Idle, Do Not Disturb or Invisible.
- Bot token
- The token you copied from the Developer Portal.
What happens after you save
When you save, Rimpllee does the rest automatically: it validates the token, registers all the slash commands to your server, and brings your bot online with the name, activity and status you chose.
The dashboard shows the bot's status as it sets up:
- Configuring — Rimpllee is validating the token and registering commands.
- Active / Online — your bot is running and ready to use.
- Error — something went wrong; the dashboard shows the reason so you can fix it (for example, an invalid token or a missing intent).
Once your custom bot shows Active, you can safely remove the shared Rimpllee bot from the server — your own bot takes over completely.
From then on, all features — tickets, welcomer, reaction roles, forms and more — run through your own bot. Configuration still happens in the same dashboard; only the bot in Discord changes. See Billing & account to manage your Custom subscription.
